I crocheted this stocking cap and cuffed baby shoes by modifying 2 Ravelry patterns and adding eyes and a “carrot” nose.
I put a smaller snow face on this version, so that I could make the shoes in a brighter color.
And this set has a matching beanie:
Don’t be afraid to try changing a pattern and adding a touch of your own creativity… no harm in trying and you can always rip it out :)

Oh my goodness; how adorable. Makes me wish for a little one to give it to.

You don't share what pattern you modified from Ravelry. Can you give us more information?
ReplyDeleteLove the set and the scarf is cute too!
Thanks Ginger :)
ReplyDeleteWow, Amanda!! Thank you so much... I'll be grabbing a button!
Student of Scripture- These baby shoes/hats seem to evolve a bit each time I make them & I'm not even sure what the original patterns were :( Here is what I remember:
The sole of one pattern, the toe of another, and then figured out how to make the heel and ankle cuff myself.
The hat is a basic baby beanie that I added ribbing around the face, elongated the top to make the tail, then added the braid on the end.
The snowmen are magic circles with french knot eyes and sc noses.
If you use Ravelry's filtered search for free patterns, you should find something that will work :)
