Definitely worth splurging on croissants. :) Fast and easy sandwiches, for busy summer evenings! We love them for breakfast, too. The original recipe is from All Recipes.
Kylie's Ham Delights
1 pound thinly sliced cooked ham
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
5 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
5 large plain croissants
Combine ham and pineapple (undrained) in skillet. Sauté over medium heat until most of the pineapple juice has cooked off. Separate mixture into 5 sections in skillet and place one slice of cheese on top of each; cook until cheese melts. Serve on the croissants.
Enjoy!

Found you on Tempt My Tummy Tuesdays. Croissants always make a "perfect" sandwich. Be it ham, chicken breast, or otherwise. Never tried the pineappple on mine though. Kind of like the Hawiian pizza. Guess I'm just going to have to give it a try.
