What’s your color personality?

2453670430_a453c127af

Better Homes and Gardens offers this quiz to help you decide what color to paint your walls, based on your answers to eight questions.

Hmm.  Apparently my color personality is YELLOW

And strangely, it came out yellow all 3 times I took it…

(I couldn’t decide if my favorite season was spring, summer, or autumn).

(Because I am NOTHING, if not decisive).

Sooo... What color is your personality?!

Your color personality is: Yellow
Like yellow's strongest symbol, the sun, you radiate warmth. Others love to be around you because you have a gift for always looking on the bright side, and your ready smile can be infectious. Chances are your calendar is packed -- yellow lovers tend to be always on the go! Your signature color indicates someone imaginative and creative, so don't be afraid to express yourself through the way you dress and the way you decorate your home. Cheerful yellow is the ideal hue for a kitchen, laundry room, or any room that needs some extra brightness.

It is finished.

Complete.
Fulfilled.

Are you asking what, exactly, am I talking about?
…Oh, just this teensy weensy little thing I used to call my
MORTGAGE!
If you could see inside my head right now, it would totally look like THIS

Punkin’ Toes

Autumn has been making it’s presence felt here in WY.  Actually, fall arrives here much sooner than many parts of the country :) The leaves are mostly gone and it is freezing nearly every night now.
Pumpkins are one of my favorite fall themes and these sweet little pumpkin booties make me smile.  I’m so happy with out they turned out!

What have you all been working on this week?

Pear Raspberry Jam

Oct 008
 A sweet and tangy treat…
PEAR RASPBERRY JAM
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped peeled ripe pears
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons bottled lemon juice
  • 1 pouch (3 ounces) liquid fruit pectin
In a Dutch oven, combine the first 4 ingredients; bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.  Quickly stir in pectin; return to a full rolling boil.  Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat; skim off foam.  Carefully ladle hot mixture into hot half-pint jars, leaving 1/2-in. headspace.  Wipe rims and adjust lids.  Process for 10 minutes** in a boiling water canner.    Makes 6 half-pints.
**The processing time listed is for altitudes of 1,000 feet or less. Add 1 minute to the processing time for each 1,000 feet of additional altitude.
